The food was amazing! I ordered the koobideh and it was very juicy/perfectly cooked. Doogh was perfect, not too sour and full of herbs. Atmosphere/service: Babash the owner (apologise if I got the name wrong) was a very hospitable and friendly person who attended to us the entire night! Generous and affordable portions: The meal sizes are very generous and affordable in the heart of Putney (only 10 minute walk away from the main road). This is exactly how it tasted when I visit my family in Iran. Thank you very much for catering to me, my boyfriend and work colleague.

Yes, I posted partially eaten food. Our first time here and we just had to post a review while enjoying the food. It’s that good. Get the mixed starters - and bring friends. There is a lot for the money. The quality is spectacular. We love Persian food and this is some of the absolute best. Definitely a go to from now on. The grills are equally delicious. We will work our way through the entire menu.

This was the second visit to the Persian Grill House, and both times the food was amazing. Today we had tremendously tender long-marinated grilled chicken with a beautiful yellow saffron colour and a lamb kofte kebab. Also, an exceptionally good ghormeh sabzi, with slow cooked lamb and the fried herbs and dried black lime in balance. The staff are wonderful, and knowledgeable and passionate about the food, making for a welcoming atmosphere. This excellent local restaurant deserves support!

Ordered two mixed lamb and chicken fillet cubes kebabs. Great value with grand opening 20% off offer. Absolutely delicious. Loads of good quality chicken and lamb, flavoured well, plus chargrilled vegetables, salad and chips for the little grandsons! Healthy meal. Will order again next time we visit Putney.
